How we work
Positive change within the community comes from a growing awareness. Education plays a critical role in this process.
The EN MASSE project seeks to raise awareness through an embodied learning experience, stimulating thought-provoking commentary and innovative perspectives on a vast array of ideas. It does so by extending itself beyond the boundaries of the white-walled artistic institutions, finding home in our streets, parks, and public spaces. These everyday settings help the audience feel more at ease in approaching the concepts and creative drive that underpin the work.
Creativity is a universal language
This ever-evolving role of street art and muralism in public life has become one the most powerful and evocative art movements in recorded history. It globally defies obstacles of language, culture and politics as the walls of nearly every city are turning into a vast social network where artists and audience alike experience and understand each other.
Creativity is a universal language, as tens of thousands of these images explode over us every day, over social media networks, and to an audience, hungry to engage with this boundless cultural activity.
MAKE ART WORK FOR ALL
EN MASSE embodies the strength and drive of this developing network. It is designed as an expression of the role art can (and should) play in our society, as we offer our communities a fundamental reason to care about relevant social and environmental issues, from a global perspective.
It provokes strong emotions within the collective consciousness of the community, steering us to a point where the people identify more with each other than with the interests of wealth, manufacturing, and corporate agendas, change can happen.
